What should I choose Unix or Windows Hosting?
| For starters, many people believe that just because they run a version of Windows on their home computer they must choose a host who runs Windows. The operating system you run on your PC has absolutely no bearing on your dealings with a host's web server. If you are planning on using .ASP, Microsoft SQL, Access or ColdFusion then we recommend that you use Windows Hosting. If you are planning on using PHP or mySQL then we recommend that you use Unix Hosting. If you don't know what the above things are and won't be using them then we again recommend that you use Unix Hosting. Our control panel is easy to use with our Unix hosting and you will be able to get your site up and going w/o needing to know anything about Unix. |
